The #Community has received 5 visitors - Golden Retrievers, three from Chicago, joined in Boston by two others that have been working with #Students at #SandyHookElementary in #Newtown since December.The #Canines, sent by #LutheranChurchCharities will be there till at least Sunday & stationed at their Church, located just blocks from the finish line. They will also visit Boston hospitals where more than 100 victims are being treated.- They bring a calming #Effect to #People and #Help them #Process the various emotions that they go through in #Time’s of #Tragedy & #Trauma
The retrievers in the #K9Parish Comfort #Dog program are trained to #Work in extremely stressful situations & bring #Peace & #Love back where only #Pain #Hurt & confusion is felt. The program was started in 2008 & #Today, the initiative has grown from just a few dogs in Chicago to 60 dogs in six states. When the dogs aren’t providing comfort during troubled times they visit people in hospitals and nursing home’s - #Awesome

Using a #Technique originated by #RiusukeFukahori - Lye manages to produce the #Illusion of different #Animals #Swimming in #Water. The time-consuming process involves pouring resin into a bowl and then painting on top of it with acrylics, layer by layer.
