The order was made after deep cracks became visible. The building, in #Savar on the outskirts of the capital #Dhaka, housed at least four factories producing clothes for leading #Western #Retailers. The #HighStreet giant #Primark confirmed that one of its suppliers occupied the second floor. Thousands gathered on the streets where the building collapsed

Whether in the air, the void, or the planets.
It has not been God’s pleasure that we should be informed of their abode.
The only response I can give is that no-one has ever seen one and we need to keep imagining them.
The angel has three functions - firstly a historic one to remind us that below this site coal miners worked in the dark for two hundred years, secondly to grasp hold of the future, expressing our transition from the industrial to the information age, and lastly to be a focus for our hopes and fears - a sculpture is an evolving thing.”
Anthony Gormley said of the Angel
“The hilltop site is important and has the feeling of being a megalithic mound. When you think of the mining that was done underneath the site, there is a poetic resonance. Men worked beneath the surface in the dark. Now in the light, there is a celebration of this industry.
The face will not have individual features. The effect of the piece is in the alertness, the awareness of space and the gesture of the wings - they are not flat, they’re about 3.5 degrees forward and give a sense of embrace.
The most important thing is, that this is a collaborative venture. We are evolving a collective work from the firms of the North East and the best engineers in the world.”

Archangels
The archangels, along with the angels, are the members of the celestial hierarchy who have direct contact with human beings. Each archangel’s name reflects a specific aspect of God’s truth.
Angels
Experienced by visionary mystics as distinct and yet one, embodying both unity and plurality, like rays of sunlight emanating from the one sun
As members of the inner sanctum of God, these heavenly counsellors are the “big picture” angels, who represent God’s perfection. These angels are so vast in their manifestation that they’re beyond our human powers of perception
Seraphim
“The burning ones” or “fiery spirits” are the closest to God, and therefore the first to transmit the warmth of Divine Light. They serve in God’s inner chamber, where they regulate the movement of the heavens through the power of sound, by constantly singing God’s praise. The Seraphim embody the pure creative force of God.
Cherubim
“The strong ones” carry the throne, or chariot, of God. As guardians of the light from suns and moons, they hold up (or hold together) the physical universe. The Cherubim are all-knowing, and embody both the brilliant light of God’s love and the fullness of God’s knowledge.
Thrones (or Wheels)
“The many-eyed ones” guard the entrance to God’s inner chamber, and embody the majesty and perpetual holiness of God. The thrones are the angels of the planets throughout the universe.
